Memorable, crazy movie

I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I think whoever produced this film had an agenda-to make one of the worst possible movies without appearing to be doing it overtly. The movie is clichéd and steals from Quentin Tarantino but has none of the flare of a Quentin film-as in no real action sequences unless you count people getting shot as "action." The film has an awkward cast-Bruce Willis playing alongside actresses that seem like they belong in a Lindsay Lohan film and then Forest Whitaker thrown in for 'colour'-I mean the dudes black-how ridiculous can you get? It's coy of the filmmaker to do that plus Forest's accent goes from Spanglish to mid American and then back to Spanglish rendering the believability of his character just about nil. It's a dull movie basically-one that i think seeks to offend audiences more by its banal depiction of North American life like some nightmare version of an episode of the now defunct True Blood-set in a brutal post something world where the rules no longer apply in any recognizable form. Nothing too clear but its definitely there. The person I saw this with liked it but I found myself hating it halfway through. Bruce Willis gives the most lame performance of his career in this one that feature him for probably a total of eight minutes in all. Sheer crap-to put it bluntly.

Although it flashes some big names such as Forest Whittaker and Bruce Willis, this is far from a blockbuster hit. The setup of the movie was good, and the three beautiful actresses did help to hold your attention, but the storyline was very weak. I liked how they setup each scene similar to Pulp Fiction, where they would show a glimpse of the future and then flash back to another time. The plot was just very, very weak and the ending was to predictable for me. It's not a movie I'd watch again, but could be worth a first viewing. There is very little action, but the opening five minutes will draw you in and keep you watching.

I have to thank and appreciate the intention OK the makers of this movie of doing films like this, but when you don't have the talent or the know-how to create this kind of pictures it's very hard to accomplish the mission and impossible to nail it. So, what we get it's a Tarantino movie wanna be. I'll start saying the main scene and "leit motiv" fails 'cause it's badly recorded, first dialog may embarrass the creator, the edition is pretty lame (no excuse about the trying of fracture action), personages without charisma, Bruce Willis don't care about his role, I don't know what for is Forest Whitaker in the movie, senseless. Only Akerman (I have seen lately some of her movies and I hope she will get a big role soon and become a top level movie star)cares about performances. Best thing: some songs and the opportunity of seeing Malin Akerman, and Debora Ann Woll (she needs bigger roles in bigger movies as well)too,

"Do you know where you're going? YES! Of course! Just come with me..It'll be alright,don't worry."Two facts can be said about the above:You said this to someone in your life,at least once. And two:someone said that to you.Did you/they really KNEW what they were doing? No. No. And you/they still said that,right? Why? Because...Well,I don't know.Does this Movie knows what it's doing? Probably not. This movie is like living;No one knows what they're doing,they all say they do,everything is confusing,then comes the end. Logically speaking,life does not make sense whatsoever. And so does this movie. Do not WATCH this movie,rather EXPERIENCE it like you do with life...But don't think or try to have it under control,or else you'll be confused and write another trashy review because you couldn't let go and EXPERIENCE this gem correctly,because of your shortcomings.
