If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

Excellent movie, made me laughed all the way. Describes exactly what one would expect to be a 8 hours marijuana trip, with its fails and victories, laughs and fears, ups and downs. Though the plot is absolutely gripping, my biggest surprise was the flawless acting of Anna Faris, who seemed to be very into the part, having pot-like behaviors and looking like a real pothead. Giving the movie the essence it needed.I would recommend anyone, either smokers or non-smokers, to give 'smiley face' a try as it is just plain fun to watch and an awesome journey to wherever the wind blows.

Worst stoner movie ever made. First of all, Anna Faris is terrible in this, she plays a stupid, unmotivated, dopey character. The storyline itself is awful, a weird roommate, she eats too many edibles, makes a to do list, just a bad plot. This movie could have been slightly good if Anna Faris hadn't been so stupid and slow. Stoner movies are supposed to reflect the good side of cannabis, not the bad. Although there was some aspects of the movie that reflected being stoned unlike others like paranoia and the inability to do the simplest of tasks like get money together, it focused to much on these areas and ultimately failed on making them as funny as they could have been. The ending is another downside to this movie as it ends up completely negative for Anna Faris' character and is everything a stoner movie shouldn't be. How high is the best stoner movie ever made and one of the best films in general. Their characters are heavy stoners and weed always has a happy ending for them where as in this film, it just causes problems. 1 star = one of the worst movies ever made

This movie is now in one of my top five stoner movies. For people who don't smoke, I don't think it's the right experience for you. I watched this movie quite baked, and it was hilarious. I seriously laughed out loud many times, only because of Anna Faris. She was probably the best element of the movie. Her acting was priceless, seriously, she looked so freaking baked for the entire movie it was so hilarious to see! Very good jokes and overall very funny movie! But for the plot, it's for sure not the most epic and complex tale of the history... It's actually very omnipresent but not really important. The actress is entertaining enough to make you watch the entire film. Potheads give it a shot while you smoke a bit, it's a great fun but I don't see non-smokers really enjoying the experience. I, of course, watched the movie high and another time sober, and I can confirm a good buzz helps get you into the movie, into the character. It's worth a solid 7 out of 10!

This is a great reason not to do drugs, or eat things that don't belong to you. I found this movie hilarious and teaches a great lesson - don't do drugs.Anna Faris was perfect for the role of Jane F. because Faris can play a clueless girl on a one day adventure perfectly. At first, I thought this was going to be a horrible movie, then it got really good. This cast is great. Danny Masterson and Jane Lynch were perfect. This is, in my opinion, one of the best movies with Anna Faris in it. In my opinion, its one of the best movies ever. I recommend buying or renting it, but don't show it to little kids. Drug use and language.
