Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

First of all, in the first musical number, they said that sequels are never quite as good. Well they got that right, because it was crap (excuse the minor language). I felt the song pretty much gave everyone an excuse to give us a film that was underpar, and BOY WAS IT UNDERPAR

We have 2 yo twins and got this to keep them entertained. They (and we) have watched it pretty well every other day for the last 6 months, and have never got tired of it.Each time I watch it I pick something else up. Strongly recommended. Also, it's _very_ PG. We got Mulan for them, but it frightened them, but this was perfect.Perfect for parents of younger children, and older children. It's a perfect Muppets movie. It has everyone in it. Even Kermits nephew, Robin!! Uncle Deadly, Coco the bear. Pepe the Prawn.Love it. Stringly recommend.

I grew up loving The Muppet Show. I learned from Sesame Street, which I called 'Nesame Street.' Jim Henson was a brilliant man. But, this latest in Muppet movies lacked, well, everything. The basic plot of someone, a nefarious Kermit wannabe, stealing Kermit's identity and carrying on as Kermit, despite obvious accent and behavior quirks. The Muppets didn't realize anything was wrong. It lacked imagination. A sentence I never would have put in conjunction with Jim Henson before. The plot wasn't engaging, was slightly more adult than it should have been, and was lacking Muppet charm. Tina Fey, worth her horrible accent didn't help matters much. Ricky Gervais was horrid. All in all, just skip it.

I didn't think a Muppet movie headlined by three TV stars would be much fun, but color me wrong on that one. Ty Burrell, Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais fit their parts well and within the movie's fabric, and I did get a kick out of the Burrell and Sam the Eagle duo. And Fey with a Russian accent totally works. Good cameos, too; Frank Langella was a nice surprise.Even more importantly, "Muppets Most Wanted" recaptures the unruly spirit of "The Muppet Show'. Throw in some Pink Panther caper action and it's a good bit of fun. The cheesy gags are still around, and so are the exploding tendencies. And the Muppets didn't play second to the humans. The series has regained its footing with this.7/10
