The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This film tells the story of a married couple who lands themselves almost seven hundred thousand dollars that literally falls out from the sky. However, it's rightful owner tracks them down and demands every cent of the money they have taken and spent. "Cash" may sound like an interesting idea, that a couple undergoes changes that they could never imagine. Chris Hemsworth and his on screen wife form a sweet couple who are honest and innocent. The guy who wants the money back, however, counts every cent even though he has recovered most of the money. It gets super tedious and even ridiculous that the characters in the film keep counting cents every minute. Why keep counting the cents when you can count in hundreds of thousands? It makes the film so annoying, and it's more like an accountant's wet dream.

Although the execution of this film is only so-so - it straddles the line between crime thriller and quirky comedy and is not quite successful in either genre - I'd recommend watching it for Sean Bean alone. For this is a film that Bean completely dominates, appearing in almost every scene, with tons of dialogue and acting opportunity, and acting everyone else off the screen in the process. It almost feels like the film has been written as a tribute to Bean and I'm not complaining. He's a hoot as a criminal dedicated to tracking down every cent of his stolen cash, bringing plenty of his trademark deadpan humour to the part. Bean exerts an air of authority, of quiet menace, like few other actors and his presence here is second to none. His character is a guy who rarely has to resort to violence, instead controlling people through his personality alone. He's fantastic, the best I've seen him in years. The rest of the film is okay, but the director can't hide the fact that most of the budget was spent on getting Bean and the rest of it feels rather cheap and lacklustre. It's amusing to see Chris Hemsworth, pre-THOR fame, appearing here and giving a rather weak performance in contrast to Bean. And the ending is one of the lamest cop-outs I've seen in a good while. Thank God Bean is here to distract us from these shortcomings.

Some of the blandest of stories can be made into gems by the performance of one man. The story in Ca$h is by no means original, but the addition of an outstanding bad guy, with his own original way of doing things, makes the film worth seeing. Sean Phelan (Chris "Thor" Hemsworth) is down on his luck and about to have his house taken by the bank, when an amazing thing happens. While driving on the highway, he sees a high speed chase in progress. The robbers, not wanting to be caught with the evidence, throw their loot off the overpass and right onto Phelan's car. The Phelan's think that God has smiled on them and they start making plans for life in the fast lane, when their luck turns again. Thanks to their greed, the robber (Sean Bean) is able to track them down and shows up at the Phelan's door, demanding his money back. LOTR's Sean Bean stars as the bad guy and he really has turned into one of the best criminal actors you could get. He's this big scary guy, with such a calm demeanor, willing to tell you everything that's on his mind. Bean takes the Phelan's through a wild week, trying to get back his money in a variety of ways, that I think will really surprise you. One of Bean's strength as an actor turns out to be a weakness to his character in this film. As I said, he has a way of always telling you what's on his mind, and in this film it's all about the cash. That being said, Bean keeps trying to figure out the amount of money left to be repaid and it gets pretty annoying. Also of note, while this was a pretty entertaining film, it is also about 40 minutes too long. Admittedly, the story is a bit thin, so the writers try to expand the story as much as they can. While it's terrific at first, by the end, the film is seriously lagging, and it takes a lot away from an otherwise terrific film. Ca$h doesn't offer many surprises, but the cast is terrific and it most defiantly has it's moments. It's the perfect film to use if you're looking to kill some time without having to think too much about it.

After Sam wakes up with a suitcase full of money thrown at his car, he keeps it, pays the rate at home and buys new furniture. Interestingly, his girlfriend after seeing the suitcase full of money, first she is happy and didn't ask Sam from where he have it. Only after she realizes that they might be in danger, but despite this agrees not to return the money and they keep it in order to make life more beautiful. Even more interesting is how the brother's owner of the money finds the two, with the help of the new car Sam bought and cost a lot. I wonder why Sam has not bought a cheaper car or in installments or even better if it took one second hand because an expensive one is easy to find. Once in her home Pyke calculates to find out how much they spend, then they go to get the rest and that remaining difference can not forgive and puts the two to appeal to some extreme measures to pay the debt. The film teaches powerful role they represent money in the world as well as two ordinary people can do things they did not ever imagine that they will do. But anyway better Sam donate money to poor people or throw them out the window as he did with the money stolen from the bank so we did not have to look at this film for almost two hours. Spend wisely.
