Save your money for something good and enjoyable

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

I found nothing fundamentally wrong with this picture. Is it slightly predictable? Yes, but breathtaking twists are not always necessary for a film to be good. And I did not feel insulted by the subtle hints that were carefully dispersed to lead us up to what was coming in the end. The acting was PHENOMENAL, the interior design a treat to the eye, the camera... the directing... the dialogues... What am I missing here? Why does "Iron Man: Civil War" warrant 7.5, but "Third Person" no more than 4 out of 10?

Three stories occur simultaneously, telling different stories but with a core similarity. In each one, the main plot revolves around the loss of a child, whether it is permanent or one which involves big and impenetrable barriers. A writer who lost his child in a pool has an affair far away from his wife, a man steals a gypsy's money only to help her later get her child back and a struggling maid who cannot earn the right to see her child after she almost killed him by accident.I have to tell that these stories, besides the fact that they are so different, are as implausible and weary as they are stupid. The characters have a tendency to take radical and inexplicable actions that makes you wonder what was the writer of this movie thinking of? I mean, how can you tell me that a man decides to help a difficult person he barely met to the point that he gives her 100 grand just like that? Or that a mother who loves her child and apparently is willing to do anything to see him isn't able to get to a very important appointment on time not a single time? These opinions are strictly personal so you may have different views regarding them. Disregarding the above, I must add that this movie, through its badly drawn characters, doesn't manage to transmit any feeling, anything that may "inspire" you to start caring even for a second for their fate. They are so dull and lifeless, with their radical personalities and their questionable decisions, that any emotion is out of the question. Don't get me wrong, all the actors played their roles in a great manner, but the plot was simply too uninteresting, boring and soulless for them to raise the bar with their performances.I was about to fall asleep multiple times because of the lack of action and the plot that I simply cannot say that it was worth the time I spent seeing the whole film. I understood that all stories were fiction created by a single mind but they are too distant from each other, their presence together being hard to explain. Each one as a different movie may have had sense but all together create a bad blend. It is a bad and most of all boring film in my opinion, recommending it to anyone being pointless.

Great cast (you would think) but yet I found myself being incredibly frustrated by the characters. What a flop of a movie. Movies like this tend to ruin movie watching for me because for it to have been released means that a team of individuals whom I used to trust to pick great roles and make good films signed off on this crap. They maybe even bragged about it which is worse considering how terrible this movie really is. I watched without bias but yet again I felt annoyed for having sat through the whole thing until the end. I didn't pay for this so there's at least that but I sill felt like I should've been compensated for wasting my time watching this. Another BAD MOVIE from Hollywood. Odd how none of these A listers put their hands up and respectfully declined. Who could've read this script and been like "Yes! I want this on my resume"?! Crap from top to bottom. Thanks for nothing cast and crew and of course Paul..can't forget you in all this. Know when to shut it down, regroup, refocus and/or just toss a script in the trash. I really didn't appreciate this movie as you can see and it's unfortunately left a terrible taste in my cinematic mouth that will have me thoroughly check out any movies with skepticism from all involved in this junk.

Main plot begins when Scott (Adrien Brody) finds "love bomb" in small Italian café. Everything else happens around this plot and is called ordinary life with many problems characters have in life. Almost every character is loser except two of them who experienced lose before and they wanted something else. Do good deed, expect good. Do evil deed and expect a lot worse. Someone picks money but what about love? Someone picks love but what happens with money?You can live life without love but what kind of life, and on the other point of view how to live without money? Shakespearean, TO BE OR NOT TO BE. Good movie, well written and directed by Paul Haggis, good acting especially main characters Moran Atias (Monika), Adrien Brody (Scott) and Liam Nelson (Michael). Definitely watch this movie.
