Absolutely the worst movie.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

I was hugely bored by the first movie because this fat, lazy, belching always talking furry-ball is an annoying character and that the story and talent wasn't there also. At first, i found this English royal clone could be interesting because of the change of locations and misunderstanding but after 30 minutes, i couldn't stand it! the story is stupid with having all the characters meeting by luck when they need it, the English bad heir is an insulting copy of John Cleese, the farm animals are totally excruciating, the scenes are only about setting a trap but they are not funny and terribly long, Garfield's master is always transparent and lacks energy and Hewitt is again totally wasted! So it's really one of the worst sequel i have ever watched and i wonder if that really makes kids laugh??

Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006): Dir: Tim Hill / Cast: Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Billy Connolly / Voices: Bill Murray, Tim Curry: About as fetching as emptying the litter box. This lame sequel regards two different lifestyles by identical cats. Lame plot has Jon traveling to London to propose to his girlfriend, but his cat Garfield and dog Odie stow away in the luggage. Garfield is mistaken for an identical cat that was left an estate in a will but Lord Dargis attempts to dispose of him thus being the next heir. How animals are able to perform the tasks given is not explained and director Tim Hill is no road map. He previously flushed the Muppets franchise down the toilet with the pathetic Muppets From Space. Breckin Meyer is nothing like Jon although the character was funnier in the comic strip. Jennifer Love Hewitt is flat and really only serves as a pretty face. Billy Connolly gives a bad John Cleese impersonation as the idiotic Lord Dargis. Garfield is voiced by Bill Murray whose contribution doesn't save the film but it provides sarcasm and amusement as Garfield struggles to adapt to this new lifestyle. Tim Curry voices the twin villain of Garfield but that is pretty much the height as to which that role elevates. Garfield looks fantastic as done with computer animation but it fails to translate the comic strip. It leaves more than two tales told by the filmmakers. Score: 2 ½ / 10

Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer) plans to propose to his girlfriend Dr. Liz Wilson (Jennifer Love Hewitt). She's on a business trip and he follows her to London. Garfield (Bill Murray) and Odie sneak into Jon's luggage and join him on the trip. Garfield breaks out of the kennel with Odie and hides in Jon's suitcase. Meanwhile, the late Lady Eleanor leaves her castle to her pampered cat Prince and next to nothing to her nephew Lord Dargis (Billy Connolly). Once in London, the lookalike cats get switched.I actually like the interaction between Jon and Garfield. I like the movie up to the point when they get separated. Then the movie loses what makes it fun in the comic strip. I don't care about all these other animals and everything going on in the castle. It's all very children's show with all these talking animals. I like it when sarcastic Garfield is the only animal who talks.

This film is about Garfield and an identical looking British Royal cat being mixed up in identity."Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties" is not so entertaining even as a children's film. The plot is entirely predictable, and is not so interesting either. Garfield is portrayed to be unsympathetic and even annoying. Breckin Meyer's character looks entirely silly and redundant, and he could be cut away without much effect on the story. Bill Murray's voice over a Garfield is monotonous, dull and un-energetic. The lengthy scene where animals cook reminds me of "Ratatouille", but only 10% as adorable, entertaining and fun as "Ratatouille". Ian Abercrombie's character as a Smithee the butler is the only interesting and likable character in the film."Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties" is dull and disappointing. It fails to transform the magic from the original comic strips.
