When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

6/5/18. If you like the High School Musical franchise, then you definitely need to bring closure with this one. Efron was a good as usual. Of course, this doesn't stand up to the iconic high school musical of all time - Grease.

Anybody who believes that a Disney movie is going to have great acting skills needs to wake up. The same thing needs to be said for those who think that they will be serious or believable. Disney thrives on the imagination, so for those who don't like this movie because people don't just break out into song in real life, welcome to the world of Disney. That being said, I enjoyed this movie immensely. It is a step up from the original two. The only reason why it got a lower rating was that more people went and saw it, and they didn't like it for reasons posted above. The acting is decent enough, despite what I mentioned above. Corbin and Monique are good as the two lovebirds who are there for our main characters. Ashley is just as evil as ever, and Lucas knows how to dance and have a good time. And let's not forget our lead actors; Zac and Vanessa aren't the best actors today, but they seem to be having a great time together here; it really is a shame that they are broken up now. However, if anything, you are here to see the musical numbers. This is where HSM 3 is a step up from the first two. Because it's a big-screen movie unlike the first two, the musical numbers have to be bigger and better, and bigger and better they are. You've got the great chorus numbers, "Now or Never," "I Want it All," "A Night to Remember," the show itself, a graduation rendition of "We're all in this together," and, of course, a song called "High School Musical;" then you've got the softer songs called "Right Here, Right Now," "Can I Have this Dance" (which is the best love song between Troyella out of the series), "I Just Wanna be with You," "The Boys are Back," "Walk Away," and "Scream." All the songs are much catchier than the ones from the first two, and they are the movie's highlights. All in all, check your brain at the door and just sit and have a good time. That's what this movie is about. If you go in thinking that the actors are going to receive academy awards, with a movie that takes itself seriously, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Everybody should know this. A 9/10 for me.

Disney sure knows how to waste money, because this is absolute trash.it even amazes me how such movies can even be considered made, even the demographic of this film must realize, the incredible bad acting, lack of emotion, and lack of complexity from each and everyone one of the so called "actors" portraying a care free, simple life, must be wonderful, to be in a high school with perfect straight A, happy students! BULL! not even a ten year old writes such rubbish, in hope that kids around the world will pay and invest in amateurs who insult the word 'ACT' and you'd think Disney would learn, turns out three films later, lesson still not learned.this film describes pure agony, the dialog and corny songs, the clichés and predictable story line isn't even the worst of it.Each film is a repeat of the the previous one, and you can tell exactly whats going to happen just buy looking at the cover. If parents are going to let their kids watch something, let it be substantial, something that in some way benefits their minds, to intellectually stimulate them, Films like HM are a waste of good money, money that could have been used on education, provision of food to starving people, a hundred and one options, but in a way where people were motivated to improve. But once again good money, down the drain, and you know what if your going to produce a film with with a joke of a story line, at least hire actors who seem convincing, the actors made the story line and plot even more ridiculous than it actually was.worst movie ever, poor story line, pathetic actors, corny and cliché, pure torture to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning: This is a movie with NO story plot in the strict sense.I know that a musical kind of movie features music and dance scenes but that does not make up for the lack of content. Now all I recall from this movie is a bunch of crazy graduates flooded with adrenaline rush and dancing their way into university. Only two story elements in this movie: 1.The struggling decision-making rhapsody for Troy and his annoying girlfriend. 2. Poor Sharpay betrayed by her personal assistant (and by bloody Troy couple again). I won't call them stories that need an entire movie to tell. They are just 'drama scenes'.Even some of the Gaga MTVs, egg. 'Telephone', are more fleshy in story details than this crap. And speaking of the characters in this movie....The Troy couple are eye candies but they lack in character and are not impressive at all. And I have to air grievance for Sharpay here: The East High crew treat her like sh*t. I didn't see her ever doing anything wrong in this movie, but the East High crew continued to make fun out of her, to the point of annoying me as an audience. Sometimes I just wanna cry out loud: 'Leave her alone! I wanna see more of Sharpay singing and dancing!'She is not a dumb blonde, for god's sake. She gets real talent and deserves all her effort in pursuing her actor dreams. However, she ends up being a clown. I was very much impressed with the first one in this sequel but the last two totally sicked me away.
