It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

Not so great teen movie.. Movies like One Day, Love Rose and Me before you are good romantic movies.. this is absolutely crap. Save your time and skip it. Least you will not lose faith on Romcoms. Dont go with high ratings, Their are other movies you can watch.

.. if this kid were just a few inches taller, she would be the reigning youthful queen of Hollywood and the fashion world. There's numerous scenes in this cute, simple little movie, when the camera appears as if it's a foot from her face, that you look at her and see all the glamour images of many of the captivating women of generations before. From the first production you remember seeing her, you've realized she would be a force to be reckoned with. The film is the typical example of the genre, but it's a given she will make any of its' ilk more worthwhile. And these two should most definitely pair up again.. they are unquestionably a screen 'couple' that's to be remembered.

Personally I felt this film was mediocre. It could've been a good film but what got me the most was the pacing. The whole meeting/breaking up with boyfriend happened within such a short space of time and even them getting together was in such a short space of time. I also found the characters exasperating and unrealistic. Usually I feel that Britt Robertson is a good actress but in this I feel she was appalling and so was Dylan O'Brien. The likeliness that a girl like Aubrey would ever end up with Ronnie. Victoria Justice annoyed me and the way that the teenagers talked about parties and how you'd just waltz into a party was so so so unrealistic. Who actually just drives around looking for parties to go to? It doesn't happen. The script was weak and just not relate-able. The scene near the end where she says to her parents: 'I met a boy' was especially irritating as no one actually does that. The way in which the two main leads interacted was infuriating and overall I would not recommend this film. It was cliché. However, the one redeeming feature was the soundtrack. It was easy listening and suited the scenes. Also, I quite liked Craig Robertson's character who introduced a comedic element.

For a chick-flick, this is a lovely movie. I was forced to watch it & the pacing, the filmography-- everything fell into place accordingly. It's a lovely directed movie that speaks out realism in the perspective of teens. What I liked about this movie; regardless of what those two main characters were thinking of, be it rational or not, they still fell into that mistake due to "modernism" (quoting Aubrey herself) and the confusion caused by the society itself-- pretty much peer pressure in an indirect way. Although the raging hormones do play a significant role. The actors were adorable. I couldn't help but to "ship" them secretly in my head "JUST KISS ALREADY" was all I could mouth. They both interacted genuinely and sincerely, both being traditional & mature yet dying with curiosity of what people fuss about that is considered the most greatest thing in the act of humanity. The ending gave that positive light- a bit whimsical but still one should put an effort into conveying his/her feelings. Can't say it's the WOW girl movie, but certainly one of the nicest flicks I've seen out there. I won't mind seeing it again. Good rating cause in good mood. Blame it on the movie :)
