The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Well, this just makes me glad i dont live in the USA where this might have been in some theater. This was a total ripoff of San Andreas starring The Rock.To be honest, i did watch the whole thing just to see if it got any better to the end. But no, it didnt it only got worse and worse. I have seen better movies come out of a filmschool project!
Everything you could want in a disaster movie: prohibition tunnels, CGI hippos, implausible science, a fat chihuahua in a leather jacket, and Mariska Hargitay's much less talented doppelganger. Oh, and earthquakes. Everything about this movie was terrible but I enjoyed it anyway.
Okay, I watched 19 minutes and already with the first quake I see the biggest nonsense: the guy rescue a girl from inside who immediately simply walks with him, with outside a few people on their knees protecting each other for falling rumble and others just sit relaxed at a pick nick table as if nothing is happening there. A hippo that is totally fake, people who don't acre about others and just go for themselves, I've never seen so many stupid things in just the first part of a movie. Even for the stupid 2,75 I rented it at google-play, I feel like I should have bought a coffee instead. And that in 54 years of my life, I never had it before.
I love finding new movies to watch and after so many friends of mine over the past couple months tell me "watch that san Andreas movie, its really good" I figured I give it shot. about 15 minutes through this movie I'm thinking to myself, jeez when is this movie going to get good? the graphics are a joke, the hippo looks like its a movie from the 1980s. Finally halfway through this dreadful movie i said something has to be wrong and came on here and realized i was watching the wrong movie. But still i finished it and its 80 minutes wasted that i will never get back. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT WATCH this absolutely horrible awful film.
