Waste of time
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Ok first of all, i first watched this film when i was quite young and loved it. i'm now older, obviously and still quite like it. of course the fact that i loved it as a child had an impact on my opinion of this movie but surely it doesn't make that much of a difference? i'll also admit, i haven't read the book so i have nothing to compare it to. i can imagine not liking this film after having read the book (the same thing happened with the maze runner sequels) but since it didn't have anything to live up to for me, it wasn't bad.
I just lost 2 hours of my life watching this. Soooo bad the movie and the actors also, but i think the actors looks bad because of the movie
Of-course, I didn't read the book. I know nothing about the original story. I only know the Movie version but it was fast paced, a solid, if formulaic story and fun, with a ton of great visuals and a sprinkle of Greek mythology.Daughters of Aphrodite, Centaurs and Satyrs. Vegas, loyal sidekicks, Persephone, and hell-hounds. What's not to like? If you haven't read the books, this is an entertaining, colorful, fast paced romp and worth a watch.
I had read the book and was expecting a decent movie, however, this movie was horrible. Don't waste your time on it. It is completely different from the book and Annabeth looked 20, not 12. I understand that being able to include everything is practically impossible, but adding new stuff is completely stupid. That was two hours of my life that I will never get back
