This movie originally made in 1990 is another staple in Tim Burton's timeline of enjoyable, fun, and environmentally original pieces of work. Though the story is bogged down by cliche conflicts and sometimes annoying plot devices this movie is still a great work of art and a prime example on how Burton's style flows though a movie. But Burton's style though bright and fun sometimes lacks on the story side of the coin. Characters seems sometimes come off flat and have unclear motives. The movie focuses on one neighborhood and how the residents come to see and accept this very different person into their lives. This is an interesting idea for a movie but it not totally original or done well in some areas. Overall, Burton's sometimes boiled down, cliche story can bring down the movie but his patented Burton style still helps it rise it above others in its genre. A joyful ride with good performances all around.

Everyone should watch this movie.
JUST PERFECT! Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and I believe that this movie is one of his best. A very touching movie. Tim Burton shows for one more time how great producer and writer is!
