Good start, but then it gets ruined
A Disappointing Continuation
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Loved the story, loved the message. It is true that we all need to improve our health, mental outlook, but to many people today put to much emphasis on what they think other people think. It fake and it's sad. This movie focused on what makes a person beautiful. Or whole family loved it!!
I don't understand the bad reviews on the is film, but it was probably targeted more towards women. Great story, very different and actually very inspiring. I founded Renee to be a very relatable character. Everyone has their insercurities and in the world we live in now we constantly feel like we have to be perfect and look a certain way, but everyone is pretty is their own ways. Good movie to watch if you just wanted a light-hearted comedy on a Friday night and have wine.
I was confused as to why the rating for this film is so low, and why so many people had given it a 1 and written scathing reviews. So I did a little sleuthing on the internet and it turns out that yes there are some 'men's groups' who get a bunch of their members to vote against films but mostly it's because the imdb membership is overwhelmingly made up of men. This is not really a film aimed at men (no offence) so whèn they say they think only brain dead peoplè would enjoy it or that you would be better off watching Shallow Hal (a film with a male protagonist) or star ship troupers 2 (?) they are saying they want a film aimed at them. As a women i found this film very relatable (as apparently did many women based in the written review backlash). Let's hope the low ratings don't put people off seeing it, thus reducing the box office profit, thus discouraging studios from making more films aimed specifically at women.
I understand Amy Schumer is not everybody's cup of tea . But I think she's hilarious she is brilliant she strong she is powerful and she A excellent role model for the all women... Now this film is never win any Oscars however it's good fun enjoy it for what it is it's a solid seven from me
