It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

Clearly if some people blame Mad Max for having so less dialogues, they must see ABCD 2. I can easily count the dialogues in the movie, on my fingers, of one hand.Lets start with the plus point, the choreography and the music for those competitions was really new, refreshing and adequate for a movie based on dance. But remember, it is still a MOVIE based on dance, so there must be some story in it, here it wasn't.About the dance numbers also, they are very long, you don't have to show it all, if you have choreographed it, where are the editors? This movie also displayed the cliché of the previous one when they show you the glimpse of performance of other groups and when THE group come on the stage, the group on which the movie is based, they present a very long performance with everything in it. In the end they will put sentiments for the movie goers by presenting something Indian in every performance. So, yeay! to all the dance but noooo! to everything else. Wanna see dance with a few dialogues stuffed in between, go see it.

I have always believed that music has no boundary. After watching ABCD , my saying has changed and I would say that dancing "pumps up your heartbeat , refreshes your mind and will make you forget about all the worries in life". Any Body Can Dance 2 scores big on choreography but loses its sheen with wafer thin screenplay and predictable plot.A brilliant dance group is disqualified from a competition after it is claimed that their dance skills are copied. To prove their mettle , group starts on their own company by hiring a maestro to win the biggest dance event in Las Vegas.Directed by Remo ( FALTU, ABCD) , ABCD 2 takes you by complete surprise with excellent presentation of dancing skills and beautiful choreography. Remo , being a great choreography himself, does a superb job as director making sure that film is made with universal appeal. The opening scene was mind blowing which continues until the 1st half. The story line and screenplay tumbles down and it becomes monotonous and predictable. Editing is weak and the film should easily be trimmed for 30 minutes. Another disappointment is average performance from Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and even Prabhu Deva who has been in the industry for quite sometime. Varun Dhawan, coming from winning accolades in Badlapur, does well in his dancing skills but simply overacts. Shradha Kapoor is passable. Rest of the star cast is strictly okay. As for Prabhudeva, watch for him dancing extensively in the disco scene and you will know he is one of the best dancers in the country but acting takes a downhill. Screenplay is lose coupled with loopholes. Cinematography is eye-catching capturing the wonderful choreography with ease. Dialogues are bad. Background score is good though it has shades of STEP UP series. However , I felt music could have been better considering it to be a musical movie. Barring tuneful "Naach Meri Jaana" with wonderful picturization , other songs were average.Overall , ABCD 2 is predictable and boring but a must watch for the dance lovers. Director Mr. Remo D'souza knows well to capture and portray the dance in grandeur and interesting way. This time there is no story. Main drawback of this film is very less emotional factor but yeah two scenes are very good in emotions, first when Vishnu meets his son and second the climax. Screenplay is very routine and predicative. You exactly know what is going to be happen. So, movie slows down at many places. Few things are gone overboard in the name of thrill, like the interval point thrill plot, the childish way to give the hint of love triangle, strain in leg to find scope for another previous actress's dance skill. Few scenes are good conceived keeping 3 D in mind, like one the bubble coming out from Vishnu mouth. Dialogues by Mayur Puri are good. They deliver humor and emotions. This type of movie requires dancers first then actors and first part has proved this very well. Here the protagonists are actors first so they have there own limitations. Let them lead, makers have to lower down the dance level of other brilliant dancers. I got goose bumps at the solo dance sequences of Prabhu Deva, Dharmesh and Puneet. I am surprised how can one feel sound if he is deaf!? So making Puneet deaf is also unbalanced approach in the name of doing some extra and different. Dance has shown in very good way but it also losses its first part emotional dose in it. Formation of Bharat Mata and Tri-Color through dance is mind blowing. When Puneet shouts and moans, his expressions are mind blowing and gives the required push to make climax very effective. Still I missed Ganesh Aachraya dearly as Gopi. He was surprise package in first part with humor and emotions. Performance wise Prabhu Deva as Vishnu is very impressive, in dance as well in emotions. Varun Dhavan is good to project emotions but dance wise others are quite better compare to him. Dharmesh and Puneet are great dancers. Pleasure to see them dancing. I wish, there could have been more dance of them. Shradha Kapoor is balanced, dance wise and acting wise. Louren Gottlieb is very good. Music by Sachin – Jigar, is foot tapping. One song "Mai Teri Chunariya" is very emotional and comes at right places. Fine work by its lyricist Mayur Puri.

ABCD 2 REVIEW- Just finished watching ABCD 2 and came out with happy and satisfied face from theater. Film was looking promising from the first trailer and then dance video songs increased everybody's expectations. Even before trailer film had good buzz due to its surprise successful prequel. Each and every audience loved the prequel so had expectations from its sequel and film will not disappoint you for sure. Lets start from the story,Varun and Sharddha and their dancing group from mumbai is dedicated towards dance but they stole opponent's performance and gets stamp of cheaters on their name. Since then they are eager to get second chance from life. Then they find dancing guru Vishnu sir played by Prabhudeva. They try to convince Vishnu sir and he keep rejecting them. But we know film story cant go ahead without his 'Yes' to them and as expected he agrees to be their choreographer. Then auditions and their breath taking performances with eye catching visuals effects which keeps us to edge of our seats. And then their journey to the finals Obviously predictable but still enjoyable screenplay. Acting department is too good. Varun and Shraddha gave their everything for this movie. Here they proved that they are not only good actors but also are quality dancers. Both steals the show with their acting and dancing as well. Other star cast were not from this acting field so we cant expect them to act well but still they were okay but they will blow you again with their dancing skills here. Story, screenplay were good. But film is too lengthy to watch. Editing could have been better and that was needed there. So many unwanted scenes and songs spoiled the tightness and grip of the film. But here comes a magical direction which impresses us. Remo proved that he has become one the finest director when it comes to entertain all kind of audience. He kept our excitement high in every important scene like dance performances, climax and some patriotic scenes. Too many clap worthy and whistle worthy scenes and some scenes with patriotic theme were just wow. Camera work was brilliant as they shoot movie for 3D only. But don't know it was the problem of theater's projector or film's team bad work that i film screen wasn't clear i just couldn't see the single scene with clarity. I will have to watch the movie again in another theater for its clarity. Anyways final words its Another Paisa Vasool Entertainer from Remo. You just cant miss it. If you like watching dance movie with some clap worthy scenes and wholesome entertainer for all ages then you cant afford to miss this one. Go for it,its must watch for dance lovers and to those who liked its prequel and certainly one time watch for classes audience. Film completes all expectations as whole. 7 * stars by me :)
